Health Camp
On 31st January 2025, the first health camp of the year was organized in association with Vacmet Foundation and Empower Foundation at the Agra Nagar Nigam, Soorsadan, Agra in which health check-ups(B.P, Sugar, Height, Weight) and eye check-ups of more than 126 sanitation workers along with their family members were conducted. This Program also includes distribution of safety kits to 91 registered Safai Mitras. Medical consultation was also provided to the needy by senior doctor (Dr Ravi Kumar, General Physician). General Duty Assistant (GDA) training program
the guest lecture organized on February 22nd , 2025 for the 2nd batch of trainees enrolled in the General Duty Assistant (GDA) training program under the Vikalp Project , implemented by the Empower Foundation. The session was conducted by Dr. Ravi Kumar(MBBS and General Physician) from Krishna Hospital, Shahganj, Agra, who graciously shared her expertise on key topics: 1. Scope of the GDA Program 2. Employment opportunities upon successful completion of the training 3. Bio-Medical Waste Management in hospitals 4. Primary care of patients in a hospital setting 5. Infection control related to bio-medical waste affecting mothers and children and sterilization process The session witnessed active participation of 31 out of 35 trainee's, all of whom expressed great enthusiasm and felt highly motivated by Dr. Ravi's insights and practical advice.
Sustainable Waste Management Awareness Session
We successfully conducted a Certification Ceremony at Government Girls Inter College (GGIC), Panchkuian Road, Ashok Nagar, Shahganj, to recognize the efforts of 305 students who actively participated in the Sustainable Waste Management Awareness Session under the Vikalp Project implemented by Empower Foundation, a CSR initiative of Vacmet Foundation during Feb 2025. As a token of appreciation, each student received a certificate along with a cotton pouch made from waste materials, promoting sustainability and responsible waste management. The event was held under the esteemed leadership of Principal Dr. Deepali Sharma, whose support played a key role in making this initiative a success.

GDA Batch 1 participated in an hospital training
31 candidates of GDA Batch 1 participated in an industry visit to Dwarkadheesh Hospital, Bodla-Agra under Vikalp Project. This visit was designed to provide trainees with first hand exposure to a hospital environment, helping them understand the daily operations, protocols, and responsibilities of healthcare professionals. By observing real-time patient care and facility management, candidates gained a deeper understanding of their future roles as General Duty Assistants (GDAs). Such visits are instrumental in reinforcing classroom learning and preparing trainees for workplace challenges.
2nd GDA Batch hospital training at Pushpanjali Hospital and Research Centre
An industrial visit was conducted for 2nd GDA Batch at Pushpanjali Hospital and Research Centre, Agra on 24th April 2025 under Vikalp Project. During the visit, Mr. Kanhaiya (Hospital Manager) provided the candidates with an overview of various hospital wards and explained their job responsibilities as General Duty Assistants (GDAs). The staff nurse also demonstrated ECG monitoring procedures and shared insights on patient care. Additionally, the candidates were briefed on the method of feeding patients through a nasogastric (NG) tube, specifically for individuals experiencing difficulty in swallowing. EMPOWER PRAGATI PROJECT through Empower Foundation
Vacmet India Limited has initiated a project through in the covering skill development, tree plantations, waste management. Vacmet Foundation will implement this project in association with Empower Foundation a Section 25 company registered under Companies Act, 1956. Empower Foundation will implement and manager this CSR project in partnership with Empower Pragati (A National Skill Development Corporation Partner Organization). This CSR Project comprises of community awareness sessions, skill development, upskilling and capacity building of waste pickers, waste management, tree plantation drive including up keeping of saplings. The said project will benefit the society at large by ensuring environmental sustainability and increasing green cover, increase in ability of youths and waste pickers to engage in sustainable livelihoods, waste management and cleanliness drives etc.
IIT Kanpur Flagship Program “Hridayantra"
With a view of promoting research and development in the healthcare sector to ultimately benefit society at large Vacmet contemplates to carry out its Corporate Social Responsibility (“CSR”) activities and wishes to network and collaborate with IIT Kanpur to take its CSR initiatives forward through a project “Hridyantra- Innovation platform for developing world’s most advanced artificial heart”. IIT Kanpur’ is an Institute of National Importance having been established and declared as such by the parliament of the Republic of India, to provide instruction and research in various branches of engineering, technology, sciences and arts for the advancement of learning and dissemination of knowledge in such branches Vacmet Foundation is implementing CSR project of the Vacmet India Limited IIT Kanpur, in collaboration with, country’s leading hospitals has launched ‘Hridyantra’- A grand challenge based program for developing a high quality and affordable LVAD (left ventricular assist device). As a part of the proposed grand challenge, a team of innovators shall be selected and mentored to design and develop an innovative and globally benchmarked high-end LVAD (left ventricular assist device).

Vacmet Foundation has been committed and focused on imparting quality education to children ever since its inception. With aims to provide quality and work-based education to children with a special focus on the girl child, Vacmet Foundation is running its CSR project in Ramkali Devi Saraswati Balika Vidhya Mandir in Vrindavan, Mathura. To take it further, a new school bus has been provided to the School. The new bus will make it convenient for girls’ students in remote/ distant locations to study in the school. Vacmet Foundation is providing the funds for the construction of the ground floor in the new building of Lokhitam Samajik Sanstha and the dialysis machines. Lokhitam Samajik Sanstha (Lokhitam Blood Bank) is a reputed blood bank in Agra. The dialysis center on the ground floor will be convenient for the patients visiting the premises of Lokhitam Samajik Sanstha. The said project was intended to help the public at large especially underprivileged people residing in Agra and nearby urban and rural areas.

Moksha DHAM (Cremation Centre) at Gohari, Chhata, Mathura (U.P.)
Vacmet India Ltd was approached to help arranging a permanent covered cremation station at Gohari, Chatta. The local people agreed to provide an open area for preparation of cremation station. The Company constructed cremation station.
Group Marriage
As a part of the Corporate Social Responsibility initiative of the company towards promoting gender equality, empowering women and measures for reducing inequalities faced by socially and economically backward groups in the society, the Company organized/sponsored Group Marriage event at the Unit of the Company at District Dhar Madhya Pradesh for weaker section of society.The event was successfully organized. The Company also arranged to distribute Home appliances as gift to newly married couples.
